Holidays 2011

                                                                      Seasons Greetings

We hope you, your family, and loved ones  are having a fabulous holiday season:)

We understand and apologize for not posting or blogging for a majority of this month. This holiday season has been really busy for us at BoxMan Comics. But, we have tried our best to stay in contact with most of you through out Facebook, " Children Teen Book", and our Twitter account "BoxManComics".

Our goal is to post or 2-3 times a week and to Tweet daily. So if we haven't blog in a while PLEASE tweet us of become a follower of us on Twitter.

We are dilligently scheduling for next year and signing books for as many people as possible. The demand for the book has increased alot as the holidays season comes to a close and extends into the New Year.

During the month of December we sent out over seventy Boxman related materials in the forms of either books, cards, or flyers. We plan to continue to grow BoxMan Comics in 2012. Our goal is to expand into fashion. Yes, fashion. We plan to introduce BoxMan T-shirt, Tote Bags and Pens.

This month we have been contacted by a children's clothing store in the South Bay Area that is interested in having BoxMan clothing at it's location.

We sincerely hope this is a sign of things to come. We wholeheartingly,  thank you for your support and readership and look forward to hearing from you in the coming year.

Twitter/Box Man Comics

The feedback with Box Man Comics on Twitter has been a success. We created a Box Man Comics this September and we were able to pick up about thirty followers.

This may seem like a small number to some. But, we are very grateful to have followers or fans of Boxman. We plan to continue to use twitter as a method to keep people informed of the on goings of Boxman Comics as it happens minute by minute. We hope you add use on Twitter.

Events

Each month we plan to host  a Boxman related event, reading, or attend a literary event or conference. We understand that this may not be possible. But, this is our goal. An event may include a school, company, or a small group. In this month of October we have been invited to two conferences.

***Western Christian Books in Oakland, CA. invited us to book signing event with authors local and national children book authors. Currently, a date for the event has not been set. But, it looks very promising. The manager said they really enjoyed  reading Boxman and would like to have Boxman on their bookshelves by November.

****The African American Chamber of Comm. in Stockton, CA  invited us to a their youth conference at the University of Pacific in Stockton  Oct 22-23. We are always interested in giving back to the youth in any capacity as possible. We would like the opportunity to attend any youth related function rather it be as a vendor or attendee

Theme

Each Boxman book in the Box Man Comics series will have a particular message which we would like our readers to understand or grasp. Our debut novel is called Box Man because we feel that everybody has been stuck in " a box" or situation.

Generally, novels or books begin with a theme, then move towards symbolism, and irony. We would like you to create your own opinion of Box Man. We hope you have just as much fun reading it as we have in writing it.

Contact

The staff at Boxman Comics would really enjoy hearing your feedback. Follow us of  Twitter@ BoxMan Comics, Facebook @ Children Teen Book.

Events

Each month our goal at BoxMan Comics is to read and inform people about Box Man and it's message.Box Man  was born out of the idea to help people to "think out of the box". If your interested in having BoxMan  read or attend your school, event, library, or small group.

Please feel free to email us at: boxmancomics@hotmail.com. We would really enjoy hearing from you.

Order Box Man

Boxman, could not have been created if it were not for the friendly staff at Robertson Publishing in Los Gatos, CA. They staff was very instrumental in assiting in the developmental process and logistics of the book. If your interested in Boxman and ordering a copy for your school, home, or work please visit www.rp-author.com/uto-uko

Characters

The four famous people in the book are Toni Morrison, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Albert Einstein, and Tupac Shakur. We decided to use these four characters in in the first edition of Box Man for not only their influence or impact on society. But, their ability to help people especially students to "think outside the box".
Box Man is invisible, but four famous people are able to him. Working together they help each other on their journeys. This book is written to encourage everyone to think outside the box and to expand their horizons through education.
