Hey BoxMan Peeps,
Last week we had the privledge of reading Boxman to the journalism students at my alma mater Del Mar High School in San Jose, CA. The students reminded me much of myself at that age. They were very inquistive and asked lots of professional questions beyond their years.
I intend to continue working with the budding journalists on their newspaper " The Perspective" and mentor the staff on future projects. The students really impressed me with their knowledge of not only the journalism feild. But, also their pursuit of education as a whole. Some of the students are applying to such notable universities as University of California-Berkeley and U.C. Santa Cruz.
We plan to include " The Perspective" staff members in BoxMan Comics book videos and other Boxman Comics youth related activities.
Thank you,
Ido....

MLK Holiday Week
Hey Boxman Peeps,
Yesterday was the MLK Holiday. Traditionally, we have had the pleasure to ride the Annual Freedom Train Ride in the Bay Area. The train ride from San Jose, CA to San Francisco is supposed to not only honor the late civil rights leader. But, to honor the current struggles toward peace and a positivity throughout the Bay Area.
We were informed by a staff member of the Martin Luther King Jr, memorial about the possibilityof doing a reading of BoxMan with the group in the future.
These once in a lifetime opportunities are truly cherished moments. We look toward working with the group in the future and will keep you informed as it develops.
Warmly,
Ido Uto-Uko

Non Profit Connections
Hey BoxMan Peeps,
We would just like to say thank you for the sincere support and interest that you all have shown in helping us make a connection with non profits. The support has been absolutely amazing to say the least. Over this past week some you have provided us with names of churches, schools, and family services organizations throughout Northern and Central California.
One of our missions is to expand our list or partnerships firstly in the BayArea. Secondly, to the western United States and go from there. We are inherently aware that we are in a global society and understand the extreme importance of it.
With that being said, if you are a non profit organization that has services in another country we would like to connect with you as well. Last year, (2011) we were able to partner with The African Library Project (501)c http://www.africanlibraryproject.org/. The group sends books and creates libraries in the greater southern portion of Africa. Through our partnership with the group we were able to send copies of Boxman to nation of Swaziland.
Please feel free to contact us: boxmancomics@hotmail.com for more information or to discuss the possibility of a reading

Non Profit Partnerships.....
Hey Box Man Peeps,
We understand the need of non profit organizations. Today more than any time in history, there need is a need for them They are the cornerstones of each and every community. Most people are aware of the basis or basics of "non-profits". A nonprofit could range from a schools and university to churches and other community "need-based" groups.
Box Man Comics is looking to partner with school districts, faith based groups , and community groups or organizations in need. We would like to read Boxman or donate books to the organization or group.
If you are a non-profit or know of one please let us know and we would be more than happy to work with your group or organization
Email us : boxmancomics@hotmail.com
Cheers,
